Several inter-confederation play-off spots remain to be decided.

European qualifiers are ongoing. Group winners qualify directly. Play-offs determine remaining spots.

CAF (Africa)

9 slots

African qualification features group stages followed by knockout rounds to determine the 9 qualifiers.

AFC (Asia)

8 slots

Japan have qualified. The remaining 7 slots are being contested in the third and fourth rounds of AFC qualifying.

CONMEBOL (South America)

6 slots

The 10 CONMEBOL nations compete in a single round-robin league. The top 6 qualify directly.

Remaining Spots

As of the latest qualification matches, approximately 43 of the 48 spots are yet to be determined. Inter-confederation play-offs will allocate the final places. We will update this page as qualifying results are confirmed.
