Club History

Founded in 1886 by workers at the Woolwich Arsenal Armament Factory, Arsenal moved to Highbury in 1913. Under Herbert Chapman in the 1930s, the club dominated English football. The Arsene Wenger era (1996-2018) brought unprecedented success, including the famous 2003-04 Invincibles season. In 2006, the club moved to the Emirates Stadium.
